The Art of Communication: Campus Residential Review!
Last weekend’s residential was a wonderful chance to come together to enjoy:
– 🧊 Fantastic ice breakers that were engaging and thoroughly thawing!
- 💭 Excellent reminders and Qur’an Circles which were like shimmering lights!
- 🎤 Enlightening talks on: Emotional Intelligence, Sh Fazal focussed on the Prophet AS’s communication, Sarah Joseph went through her JAMMS model: Justice, Action, Mercy, Middle Nation, Stewardship, and Hamda Mohamed spoke on activism and individualised success.
🗞️ Workshop options on Sunday included an amazing real world simulation with Rasheed + Adam, media interview skills with Khalid Anis and public speaking/writing a Pause for Thought with Sara Saigol.
The atmosphere was amazing and we are so fortunate to meet in safety! So many new people joined us and the atmosphere during the formal Saturday night dinner was wonderful. We missed those who could not make it.
