✊The Hunger Strikers & UK Repression ✊

As repression intensifies against those resisting genocide, this session examines the use of hunger strikes as a form of protest and the UK’s response to dissent. We will discuss:

– What a hunger strike is and why there was one

– The broader repression of the right to resist genocide

– What we can do

⚖️ We are fortunate to be joined by Shahmina Alam, sister of hunger striker Kamran, for this important discussion on protest, state power, and solidarity, and to explore practical ways to demand justice.
