Alhamdulillah, our Qur’an Masterclass was a truly memorable day of knowledge, reflection, and brother/ sisterhood at the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), Birmingham.
Our morning began with an inspiring session from Sheikh Fazal, who explored how we should approach the Qur’an—not merely as a book to recite, but as a guide to understand, reflect upon, and live by. It was a powerful reminder that the Qur’an is meant to transform our hearts before it transforms our actions.
In the afternoon, Ustadh Adnane delivered a thought-provoking session on dealing with doubts, offering practical guidance rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah on navigating uncertainty, strengthening conviction, and remaining steadfast in our faith.
One of the highlights of the day was the venue itself. Being hosted at the beautiful Midlands Arts Centre, right beside Cannon Hill Park, gave everyone the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together after the programme. We rounded off the day with pizza and shawarma in the park, where attendees had the chance to relax, connect, continue the conversations from the sessions, and enjoy the company of one another in a welcoming atmosphere.
A huge Jazakum Allahu Khayran to our speakers, volunteers, and every attendee who joined us. We pray Allah allows us to act upon what we learnt, strengthens our relationship with the Qur’an, and grants us many more opportunities to gather in His remembrance.
Until next time, in shā’ Allāh.
